Perfectly Clear LAB Software Added to HP Indigo Digital Presses Provides Labs and Retailers Automated Image Correction for Increased Productivity and Cost Savings

CALGARY, (February 21, 2013) –– Perfectly Clear® by Athentech Imaging, the leader in Intelligent Image Correction, announced today that it has been named an HP SmartStream Solution Partner, which provides customers with unprecedented access to the newest technology. The designation qualifies Perfectly Clear as the preferred product for automatic image correction while printing on HP Indigo Digital Presses.

Perfectly Clear is designed to save customers time and money. Current customers have reported an 85 percent reduction in editing time and more than 300 percent reduction in real time to process images. In addition, they drastically reduce the time needed to train employees in color correction and reduced employee turnover in the process.

Perfectly Clear LAB is designed for photo labs to help them automatically correct large volumes of photos. Based on a “hot folder” process, images are simply dropped into the “in folder” and corrected using 12 patented corrections for color, exposure, tint and other critical image corrections, and sent to an “out folder” for printing. In addition, Perfectly Clear can provide HP Indigo customers with the flexibility to incorporate the image correction software in a manner that is conducive to the overall workflow of their specific systems.

“We are excited to be part of HP’s Partner Program and look forward to providing an easy to implement solution that will improve the overall workflow and profitability of HP Indigo customers,” explains Brad Malcolm, President, Athentech Imaging.
