Retouch Link is a way to partially automate images coming out of Netlife, into QuickServer, and back into Netlife to make the process easier for you. Here’s how to set it up.
Step 1: Set up a user in Retouch Link.
Step 2: Enable the below for that user:
- Claim dialog mode: Off
- Automatic download
- Automatic upload
- Automatic deletion (you may disable this when testing)
- Automatic upload status: Fine tuned (if required)
Step 3: Check that file naming does not put files in folders by group, use i.e. the setting below:
Step 4: Let Quick server fetch image files from the download folder defined in Retouch Link, note that each retouch assignment creates a separate folder for the respective assignment:
Step 5: Write processed image files back to the respective folders where you fetched them from and overwrite the files there. When all image files are overwritten Retouch Link will automatically upload image files to Netlife servers.
