Can you define each preset and what it is meant for?

AI Preset Selection ensures that the best correction is applied to every image. We are able to optimize corrections depending on the contents of a photo. This ensures that our corrections are accurate and the best they can possibly be!

So, how are our presets defined? What type of photo was each preset made for?

We have three groups of presets that use our AI Preset Selection technology:

Universal Model

The Universal Model was created for a wide array of photos. If your business has imagery of people, landscapes, and objects, this model is for you!

iAuto People

Achieve lifelike faces on general photos of people with depth, face-aware exposure, backlight relighting, and accurate skin tone. This auto correction is for images with people that aren’t categorized in our other AI Scenes.

Newborn

A soft, subtle correction designed for newborn babies. Skin tone accuracy is applied to combat cameras picking up red in skin tones.

Group Portraits

This preset is ideal for indoor and outdoor, full length group portraits.

White Backgrounds

This preset is optimized for portraits against a pure white background.

People at Night

This preset keeps the integrity of the dark lightning in nighttime portraits while adding subtle correction.

iAuto

Our robust auto correction is for images without people that aren’t categorized in our other AI Scenes.

General Landscape

Enhance photos of beaches, oceans, lakes, forests, mountains, architecture, cities, and boats. Skies and greenery are made more vibrant. This could also includes photos with small figures of people.

Winter

Recover highlights and fix tint typical in snowy winter landscapes. This could also includes photos with small figures of people.

Night

Keep the integrity of the dark lighting in nighttime landscapes. This could also includes photos with small figures of people.

Desert

Enhance desert skies and foliage while adding depth and sharpening for a lifelike desert image. This could also includes photos with small figures of people.

Autumn

Bring back the color vibrancy of autumn leaves and landscapes.This could also includes photos with small figures of people.

Sunset

Bring sunsets to life with vivid colors.

Animals

Add sharpening, depth, and color correction to animals.

Food & Drink

Make food and drink photos pop off the page with depth, sharpening, exposure, and tint correction.

Flowers

Add accurate vibrancy to flowers along with our fidelity correction for accurate purples.

Underwater

Add depth, color vibrancy, and recover highlights in photos taken underwater to bring back the detail. Also includes photos with people and marine animals.

Black & White

Subtly bring out the detail in any black and white image.

Clip Art

Skip any drawings, cartoons, and clip art.

Pro Model

This model was created for professional portrait photographers. This can be used by professional portrait photographers, school and sports photographers, event photographers, etc.

iAuto People Pro

A small amount of exposure and color correction is applied to professionally taken portraits. The correction is subtle because these portraits don’t need much! Note: These could be indoor or outdoor portraits.

Newborn

Portraits – Dark Background

This preset has been optimized for yearbook photos shot on dark backgrounds. Achieve professional quality edits and subtle retouching on portraits with dark, grey, green and other solid colored backdrops.

This preset has been optimized for yearbook photos. Achieve professional quality edits and subtle retouching on portraits with very light backdrops (not pure white).

Portraits – White Background

This preset is optimized for portraits against a pure white background.

This model was created specifically for school & sports photographers. After gathering feedback from our customers, we created a model that exactly meets the needs of this industry.

People Outdoor

This correction is applied to portraits taken outside of 1-3 people. For example, senior portraits taken outside or an outdoor graduation.

People Indoor

This preset is optimized for portraits taken indoors, not in a studio setting. 1-3 people can be in the photo, and it is a bit more subtle than our People Outdoor correction.

Groups Indoor

Groups Outdoor

This preset is ideal for outdoor, full length group portraits with four or more people.

Subtly bring out the detail in any black and white image.

Transparency

Correct any photo that has already had the background removed.

Attractions & Cruise Lines

This model was created specifically for photography programs and souvenirs in the attractions, amusement parks and cruise lines market. After gathering feedback from our customers, we created a model that exactly meets the needs of this industry.

People Indoor

This preset is tuned specifically for indoor lighting to provide professional quality edits and subtle retouching on portraits. Used for pictures taken in restaurants, cafes, lobbies, show halls, stairs, etc.

People Outdoor

This preset is tuned specifically for the variable lighting and vibrancy of the outdoors, such as open areas, line decks, docks, to provide professional quality edits.

Rides – Normal Light

Optimized for ride photography (rides, rollercoasters, carousels, water slides, covering the entire daylight range and flash malfunctions. Achieve lifelike faces, accurate skin tones, and adds back color vibrancy into the ride, sky and surrounding foliage.

Rides – Overexposed

Will detect blown out areas from bright daylight and flash malfunctions and bring back details where possible on rides, rollercoasters, carousels and water slides.

Rides – Underexposed

This preset detects low-light and flash malfunctions and more aggressively corrects underexposed ride photos to bring out the brilliance of the day.

Pools

his preset delivers accurate colors and vivid water, and corrects skin tones due to the blue color cast from the water’s reflection.

Casino and Party

This preset tackles the various lighting color produced by casinos, bars and nightclubs. We remove the color cast and achieve lifelike faces, skin tone accuracy and good exposure to make a picture worth sharing.
