Sharper, Even More Lifelike, Better Than Ever
In 2001, Perfectly Clear was the first solution to deliver true color accuracy, just as your eye sees it. We’re still proud to be the only solution in the market to deliver Real Color Photography®!
The growing team of EyeQ is made up of a team of innovators, physicists, creators, and photography enthusiasts. We’re always collaborating on new ideas to make our patented technology even better as we strive to achieve new levels! We’ve been working all year on these new ideas, and we know you’re going to love them. Many of our innovations and additions have come directly from your requests!

- Skin tones are now automatically corrected more accurately than ever. We noticed that many skin tones would become too red or yellow due to camera limitations (capturing part of the infrared spectrum which the human eye doesn’t see). This invention is customized for different geographical areas - iAuto Asia has been developed in conjunction with our Asian customers.

The Real World...Perfectly Clear®
Better Sharpening
Our new sharpening algorithm makes images sharper without color shifting. We specifically created this sharpening for printed images. While you can see a bit of a difference on screen, it is most evident on prints. This new algorithm has been carefully tuned with our printing partners to ensure that photos of all sizes and contents are crisp and sharp.
Skin Tone Preservation
One of the best parts about Perfectly Clear is that the image is corrected to how your eye sees it, so you’ll always have an accurate photo. Before our update, brightening images for proper exposure could cause skin tones to become overly red and unnatural. Our new Skin & Depth Bias auto mode now automatically provides a more accurate skin tone correction - but only when needed. Upon customer request, we also developed iAuto Asia specifically for skin tone preservation in those of Asian descent.
Super Contrast
If you need an extra boost of depth, Super Contrast is exactly what you are looking for. You have the option to turn this off and on in iAuto 2021, and it works best with portraits and landscapes that look a bit flat.
This also works hand-in-hand with our new sharpening algorithm to make your images even sharper while adding depth.
Better Highlights & Depth
Our new Skin & Depth Bias algorithm works wonders! Highlight details are now both preserved better and more depth is noticeable.
On the left, you'll see our old algorithm. On the right, you'll see more detail and depth due to our updated Skin & Depth Bias algorithm.
AI Clipart Detection and Skipping
Sometimes, clipart sneaks into a batch of photos. More often than not, these images aren't meant to be touched! We use AI to detect and clipart and automatically skip over it so no correction is applied.
